What cookies are
Small files, small job
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. It lets the site remember information between visits, such as your preferences or whether you have already seen a notice. Cookies do not run programs and do not carry viruses. They identify your browser to the server, not you personally.
What they are not
No programs, no tracking of you
A cookie cannot read other files on your device, cannot see what else is open in your browser, and cannot follow you around other websites on our behalf. It also does not tell us your name, your address, or anything about your order history unless you have typed that in yourself on a page that asks for it.
How long they stay
Session versus stored
A session cookie is erased when you close the browser tab. A stored (persistent) cookie stays on the device until its own expiry date or until you delete it. Why we use them
Functional cookies keep the site working as expected between page loads. Analytics cookies, if enabled, tell us which guides and product pages are most useful. That information is aggregated rather than tied to a named individual. Without it we would be guessing about which content to update first.
That matters for pages people actually use. If a guide on daily vitamins and minerals for men is read to the end and a page on energy and endurance formulas is abandoned halfway, the difference is worth knowing. It tells us whether a section is unclear, out of date, or simply not what people came for.
Third-party cookies

Questions we get most often
Do cookies on this site identify me by name?
No. A cookie identifies your browser to the server so a preference can be remembered. It does not carry your name or address, and it is not a customer record. Anything you type into a page yourself stays in the place that page describes.
Can I read the whole site without accepting any cookies?
Yes. Guides and product information remain readable. What you lose is preference memory: a blocked or deleted cookie means the site asks you again on your next visit, and any analytics option you switched off cannot record that choice between sessions.
Does clearing cookies affect an order or a question I have already sent?
It does not. Deleting cookies in your browser clears what the browser stored on your device; it does not withdraw a message you have already sent or change anything already agreed with our team. If you are unsure about the state of an enquiry, email us and we will check.
